Holiday Workshops
During the school holidays – with the exception of Christmas – the music department host singing workshops for children aged 6-12. These workshops take place in the church as well as the newly refurbished Song School opposite the church in Tower House.
The workshops are run by a number of local music teachers who have a connection to the church. They often take a theme such as ‘environment’ or ‘Halloween’ around which a couple of days of singing, junk percussion modelling, fun, games and a performance are arranged.
In the past, grants have been secured to provide these workshops at a very competitive cost. Currently these workshops are required to financially self-sufficient, though we hope at a competitive price. We are determined that these opportunities are be available to those who wish to take part.
